the blaze strategy was founded in 2019, just as the pace of change in the business world accelerated. By 2020, the world was thrown into upheaval due to the pandemic, forcing brands to rethink how they engage with customers, employees, and the world at large. In this environment, it became clear that typical agencies weren’t enough. Companies truly needed a partner who could bring PR together with all other reputation touchpoints.

As the founder of the blaze strategy, Wendi has spent years guiding leaders and brands through high-stakes communication and strategic positioning. Her career has included key leadership roles, including leading corporate communications at Mindshare, a global media agency with billings of $10 billion. There, she was part of the senior leadership team tasked with transforming the brand’s reputation and vision in North America. She drove year-over-year growth through strategic PR and marketing efforts, including launching the “CMO Insider” program, which forged stronger client relationships and opened new growth opportunities.
Today, Wendi works alongside CEOs, CMOs, and senior executives to shape their public narratives and provide confidential, one-on-one support behind the scenes. With a wealth of experience in communications and strategic advisory roles, she help leaders navigate complex decisions and day-to-day challenges. Her approach blends high-level PR strategy with insightful, actionable support, ensuring solutions are executed and positioned to create meaningful, lasting impact.
